2015
Dr. Nancy Brady
In the fall of 2015, Dr. Nancy Brady from the University of Kansas visited CRADL as a Visiting Scholar. Dr. Brady studies the development of communication and language in young children and in individuals with developmental disabilities. Her research has focused on describing development of gestures and prespeech vocalizations, beginning augmentative communication use, and negotiations of conversational breakdowns.
2013-2014
In the fall of 2013, Dr. Kerstin Tönsing from the University of Pretoria visited CRADL as a Visiting Scholar. Dr. Tönsing is a speech-language pathologist and faculty member at the Centre for Augmentative and Alternative Communication. While visiting, she presented her research titled “Teaching Graphic Symbol Combinations during Shared Storybook Reading” at CRADLs Works-in-Progress event on October 18th, 2013. Dr. Jerry Mahoney
In the spring of 2012, Dr. Jerry Mahoney from Case Western Reserve University spent his sabbatical with us as a Visiting Scholar. Dr. Mahoney’s research is in parent-child interaction (broadly defined) and early intervention, and his vitae can be viewed here.

Dr. Orit Hetzroni
From September 2011 to February 2012, Dr. Orit Hetzroni from the University of Haifa spent her sabbatical with CRADL as a Visiting Scholar. Dr. Hetzroni has her Doctorate in Special Education and her vitae can be viewed here.
